Possibly one of my favorite photographers ever. Why? He is not intimidated by the nude. If you are anything like me, you will agree with what a certain Edgar Degas said, "Bodies were made to be looked at." To me, the human form, no matter the shape, size, race, or gender is one of the most beautiful and fascinating among all that the Lord has created. So this post is dedicated to celebrating just that: the crowned jewel of all creation.
Here are some reasons why I love Renoux's work:
-He can capture emotion like none I have ever seen.
-He pushes past the "erotic" stereotype that a nude photograph has, and looks for something truly interesting or beautiful.
-He does not subjectify the woman form, and in fact takes many pictures of male nudes as well.
-He appreciates all sizes, races, and both genders.
-He can actually take a decent black and white photograph.
